Why Touch or Visit A Relic of a Saint?

Why Should We Physically Encounter A Relic of Saints?

In the bible, it says: The body is the temple of God. The kingdom of God is within you.

Every atom in every cell of the body is electrically charged. We know that water is a not only a memory storehouse, but it holds energy. Our body being mainly made of water is programmable. Dr. Emoto’s body shows these studies. Objects, wet or dry absorb and hold energy in different levels. The more natural objects tend to absorb and hold energy longer like wood or cloth, more than plastic or other synthetic materials.

Sound is energy and so is thought. A prayer or a devotional thought is a storehouse of energy and these feelings can charge a physical encasement. It can charge a temple, an object, water and of course, the body of the person praying. The body then becomes a living temple. Anyone who is sensitive can perceive the presence of a sacred place or object. Similarly, anyone who is energetically sensitive can also feel a cursed object or space.

We know of, or have seen or heard of holy water used to sanctify places. We have also heard of potion spells using liquid to hold that energy of thought. Power is neutral. It depends on how we use it. Accordingly, we face consequences or blessings according to how we use this power to heal or bless others, or to harm others.

Even when saints have left their body, the physical remains becomes like the physical temple. It is reverberating of powerful sacred emanations of energy that is explosive in sweet potency of divine love and devotion. Depending on the level of spiritual attainment of the saint, the radius of influence varies.

Knowingly or unknowingly, everyone in the city upon which the relic visits is blessed and energised and cleansed to a certain degree or receptivity.  The closer one is to the relic, the more powerful the cleansing in all level, if not complete cleansing but to a certain degree. Again also depending on eligibility. However, everyone who is near that relic will be influenced whether they are aware of it or not.

The more interesting part are saints who walk amongst us still breathing and moving about. They have similar effect or even more powerful. However, they will not always be easily recognised in their great humility and silence. Life is quietly and gently changed in subtle or grand obvious ways. Normally, we so not attribute this to the physical presence of saints in our midst. They will also make sure most of the time that we do not know it’s them. As they understand fully that it is God working through them for you.

The next question is, can we make our own bodies a living temple for others to charge and power-up and cleanse themselves. The answer is yes, when we purify our bodies, minds and hearts in many ways. The soul always remains pure.

Intense spiritual practices and devotion in whatever Divine faith may lead to this.
